Big congratulations to Matt Burton who not only became a father for the first time but also achieved his decade long dream of winning the IRONMAN Western Australia in the same week on home soil.
It was an amazing atmosphere down in Busselton and Matt brought it home in style.
In an emotional speech after crossing the line he highlighted "the huge team effort" and thanked his family, friends and partners for their support.
Straight after his win he talked to his wife and newborn son Tom on a video call.
The BLACKROLL® team was lucky enough to be there with him and also to be able to look after the athletes in the BLACKROLL® Recovery Zone.
